Celebrating 25 years of service to Christ and the community
St. Gregorios Orthodox Church, Austin, Texas, established in 1997, is celebrating 25 years this year. From its inception until now, it is a church that values putting faith into action.
Over the years, the charity programs and volunteer activities of our Church have touched the lives of many in need. Among them, the Good Friday charity has been a great blessing to many as it has been used to help fund the education of poor children, provide medical assistance to poor patients, and build homes for the homeless in India.
This year, as part of the jubilee celebrations, the church would like to build a house for a needy family in Kerala. We regularly run programs like Pidi Ari, a sustainable canned food drive project that supports the local pantry for low-income families. In addition to service and giving, the church is focused on growing in faith and has conducted faith sessions and prayers regularly. “Gather, Grow and Serve” is the theme for our Silver Jubilee year. We plan to execute projects in line with our Christian values.
